Eagle hindi Movie 2024 Review

Eagle is a film that tries to be a smart and stylish action thriller, but falls short of its potential due to its weak writing and lack of originality. The film revolves around Sahadev Varma (Ravi Teja), a former professional sniper who is on a mission to stop illegal arms trade. He disguises himself as a cotton farmer in Talakona forest, where he helps the local weavers. His story is unraveled by Nalini Rao (Anupama Parameswaran), a journalist who stumbles upon a clue about his identity.

The film follows a non-linear narrative, where different characters narrate their encounters with Sahadev, also known as Eagle, to Nalini. However, most of these accounts serve to hype up the hero's character rather than adding complexity or intrigue to the plot. The film takes too long to reveal the main conflict and the motivation behind Sahadev's actions. The film also suffers from cliched dialogues, predictable twists, and stereotypical villains.

The film's saving grace is its action sequences, which are well-choreographed and executed. Ravi Teja shines in these scenes, showcasing his agility and charisma. He also delivers a decent performance as the brooding and mysterious Sahadev, who has a tragic past and a noble cause. Anupama Parameswaran is adequate as the curious and determined Nalini, who acts as the audience's proxy. Vinay Rai plays Jai, Sahadev's friend and confidante, who helps him in his mission.

He has a good chemistry with Ravi Teja and provides some comic relief. The rest of the cast, including Navdeep, Ajay Ghosh, Srinivas Avasarala, Madhoo, and Kavya Thapar, have limited roles and do not make much of an impact.

The film is directed by Karthik Gattamaneni, who also co-wrote the script with Manibabu Karanam. The director shows some flair in handling the action scenes and the cinematography, but fails to engage the audience with a gripping and coherent story.

The film also borrows heavily from Hollywood films like Shooter, Bourne Identity, and Jack Reacher, without adding anything new or innovative. The film's music, composed by Ghibran, is forgettable and does not suit the mood of the film. The film's editing, by Praveen KL, is choppy and inconsistent, especially in the flashback scenes.

Eagle is a film that could have been a lot better, had it focused more on its writing and originality. The film has some fun action segments and a decent lead performance by Ravi Teja, but that is not enough to make up for its flaws. The film is a disappointing and dull affair, that does not live up to its hype
