Kedar Shinde’s *Zapuk Zupuk* is a Marathi fairy tale that swings between charm and uneven storytelling. Led by Suraj Chavan as the charismatic boss, the film attempts to weave magic but struggles to maintain consistency. While it has moments of whimsy, the narrative often falters, leaving the audience torn between admiration and frustration.  

Suraj Chavan delivers a confident performance, embodying his role with ease and screen presence. His chemistry with Jui Bhagwat adds warmth to the film, though their storyline feels underdeveloped. Indraneil Kamat and Hemant Pharande provide solid support, but their characters lack depth, making their arcs predictable. The film’s fantasy elements are visually appealing, yet the execution feels patchy, with some scenes landing better than others.  

The screenplay, while imaginative, suffers from pacing issues. The first half drags, and the second half rushes to tie loose ends, leaving little room for emotional investment. The music and production design stand out, creating a vibrant world, but the writing doesn’t always match the visual flair. *Zapuk Zupuk* has potential but falls short of being a memorable fairy tale.  

Despite its flaws, the film might appeal to younger audiences or those seeking light-hearted fantasy. Suraj Chavan’s star power keeps it afloat, but *Zapuk Zupuk* needed tighter storytelling to truly enchant.
